Object marker
An object marker consists of a marker arrow, an optical axis and a picture.
- The Near object marker is used to represent a nearby object.
- The Far object marker is used to represent a distant object. It will snap to the nearest edge of an optical space.
Tips for use:
- Change the marker size to change the picture size.
- Adjust the square control to position the ray point on the distant object. The control only appears when a lens, mirror, or eye is placed on the Far object marker).
- Use your own image for the picture by saving this as a bitmap (16 colour/256 colour/24-bit colour) (.bmp), then click the
Browse button in the Properties pane to select the picture.
